A yet-to-be-identified soldier has allegedly shot a boy dead in Kaduna for unconfirmed reasons.

The incident reportedly happened at the front of Command Secondary School by Sabo Express road in the state Friday afternoon.

Reports say the soldier shot the boy over an argument about having an authority to pack sand in front of the school.

The boy was reportedly packing sand inside a gutter in front of the military school when a soldier ordered him to stop.

The soldier allegedly pulled the trigger when the boy refused to comply.
