    Weight gain is a process often connected to plenty of fats as well as carbohydrates in the everyday nutrition. But, unfortunately, what can increase our weight too are sugars. They even lead to rapid weight gain. Nowadays, sugar is an ingredient that can be found in almost every food and drink: honey, fruits like mangoes and bananas, raisins, fruit juices etc.
    Unfortunately, weight gain isn’t the only thing that will come out of excessive sugar consumption. Various health problems will occur: mental disorientation, headaches, fatigue, depression, hyperactivity, sleepiness, sinus issues and yeast infection as well as diabetes and cancer.
    HOW ARE SUGAR CONSUMPTION AND WEIGHT GAIN RELATED?
    Our body needs sugar so that it can function properly. But, we only need one part of it to use it as energy. The rest of the sugar is stored as fat. Excessive consumption of sugar can lead to useless fat on your thighs, face, waist and hips.
    It can be very difficult to resist sugar cravings if you’re an addict. You’ll start feeling sadness, fatigue, headaches etc. You should try to cut those products one by one and not at once.
    3 DAY SUGAR DETOX PLAN
    Here is a three-day sugar detox plan:
    DAY 1
    Breakfast: Three scrambled or boiled eggs or one cup of oats with almonds, seeds, or berries
    Snack: a bowl of nuts
    Lunch: Chicken breasts with lightly cooked beans, butternut squash, turnips, carrots, parsnips, almonds and beets
    Dinner: Broiled fish with a bowl of green beans or salmon with fried mushrooms and broccoli
    DAY 2
    Breakfast: Three scrambled eggs with spinach or one cup of oats (steel cut) with seeds, berries or almonds,
    Snack: a bowl of nuts
    Lunch: A shredded red or green cabbage salad and lemon juice carrots, salt, olive oil and chopped parsley or some grilled zucchini with yellow and red peppers with a lemon, thyme and vinegar dressing
    Dinner: Baked cod with stir-fried bok Choy and roasted Brussels sprouts and turnips or steamed green vegetables cooked with a vegetable casserole and bean soup
    DAY 3
    Breakfast: An omelet made of three eggs with shrimp and a salad made of radish, sautéed kale, and walnut or one cup of oats (steel cut) with seeds, berries or almonds
    Snack: a bowl of nuts
    Lunch: Roasted chicken with onion, thyme, and black olives or chicken thighs roasted with rosemary, sage, and lemon
    Dinner: Penne pasta with brown rice with a sauce made of tomato, basil and mushrooms or vegetable broth of celery, onion, carrots, garlic, thyme, and bay leaves with mushrooms
    SUGAR DETOX DRINKS
    Here are some sugar detox drinks that you can consume every day:
    Put some fresh rosemary or mint in a jar with water and add: oranges, blueberries, grapefruits or strawberries.
    You can also drink some herbal or green tea 3 times a day.
    Don’t drink more than 1 cup of black unsweetened coffee a day!
