As part of the activities aligned to celebrate its 60th anniversary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola led a fitness and health walk around the streets of Osogbo, the state capital, on early Saturday morning. Aregbesola is governor of Osun, one Of the southwestern states of Nigeria. In the march with Aregbesola were Lieutenant Governor Otunba Grace Titi Laoye-Tomori, Cabinet Chief, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Vice-Chairman of the House of Assembly, Hon Akintunde Adegboye, Party Chairman APC Osun, Prince Gboyega Famodun and several others.
The exercise was tagged “Walk to live”.
"Walk to Live" has been a highlight of the Aregbesola administration, particularly during his first term.

The walk with the people is aimed at promoting healthy living as well as creating a sense of unity and productivity among the people of Osun, State officials said.
It was organised by friends and associates of the Governor.
Turnout for the solidarity walk was impressive; with hundreds trooping out for the event.
Many shops and business were shuttered with just about everyone opting to partake in the walk.
The week-long celebration continues on Sunday with an interdenominational Church service holding at the Nelson Mandela freedom park in Osogbo by 4pm.
