The inhabitants of Borno turned to the military to intervene in the increased attacks of suicide bombers by suspected militants of Boko Haram in the state.
Through the section of interviewed by the Information Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Sunday in Maiduguri an appeal was filed.
Local hunter Malam Bakura Modu said that a wave of attacks, especially in Maiduguri, created a negative impression about the current situation in the state.
"There is no doubt that the military has made great strides in the fight against the Boko-Haram militants.
"But the recent wave of suicide bombings creates a false impression in the media that the group is still strong," Modou said.
He said that the military should live up to expectations by finding quick solutions for the explosions.
Modu said local hunters were ready to join the military in search of rebels in the bush.
"We express our readiness to join the fight against insurgents in the bushes, but the military always returned us.
"We hope that this time they will consider our proposal," he said.

Mr. Samuel Anjukui, a retired police officer confirmed Modu claims.
"For several months, the military destroyed militants, rebuilt the territories and saved many kidnapped people.
"But the recent surge in the number of suicide bombings has created fears in people," Anzhukuy said.
He added: "In the last few months, it is almost certain that bomb explosions will occur every weekend.
"The situation even worsened, as the explosions almost took a daily measurement."
At the same time, Anjuku expressed optimism about the ability of the military to cope with the situation.
"The military has the means to solve the problem; Therefore, he must rise up to this case, interrupting the negative trend.
"They either use high-tech technologies to detect explosives early, or they are fighting the door steps of insurgents in the bushes," he said.
Malama Musa Inuva, a civil servant, suggested a different point of view.
"I think that the natives have the key to stop the ugly trend that the military has put all its strength in, humiliating the rebels.
"But the end of the crisis depends on the natives, because the rebels live among people, they plan their attacks among people.
"While people do not want to endanger them, the attacks will continue," Inuva said.
